Nurture Nest Kids
Our mission is to create a sanctuary for children to feel seen, heard, and supported during times of pain and uncertainty.
Nurture Nest Kids is a nonprofit initiative founded by Camma Delph, whose lifelong passion for serving children inspired the creation of a space dedicated to their emotional well-being. Hospitals are places of healing, but for children, they can often feel overwhelming, isolating, and frightening. Recognizing this, Nurture Nest Kids seeks to reimagine unused hospital rooms by transforming them into comforting environments—what we call “Nurture Nests.”
These Nests are designed to serve as safe sanctuaries within hospital walls, where children experiencing pain or uncertainty can find moments of peace, comfort, and joy. More than just a room, each space represents a promise: that no child should feel unseen or unsupported during one of the most vulnerable times of their life.
Our goal is to bridge the gap between medical care and emotional care by providing spaces that nurture not only the body but also the heart and mind. Through intentional design, age-appropriate resources, and a focus on compassion, Nurture Nest Kids strives to restore a sense of childhood, even in the midst of hospital stays.
At its core, Nurture Nest Kids is about hope, healing, and humanity. We believe that when children feel safe, supported, and cared for, they gain the strength to face even the most difficult circumstances with resilience.
